They were just so fun together. They were the predecessor to Xander/Anya and Cordy/Doyle, with all the funny banter. And I loved seeing Cordelia's moments of vulnerability. Her most human moments on BtVS came from her relationship with Xander.

They were my favorite ship on BtVS and I was so bummed when they broke up, but I never expected them to last. Some ships are meant to be temporary, and these two were that, but I still enjoy them.

I loved that Cordey's relationship brought out her softer/nicer qualities. Xander dressed his best in that relationship.

I honestly think that Cordy dating Xander was a big part in how her character evolved into the one we saw on Angel

He allowed her to kinda break out from the mold that she'd surrounded herself with

I totally agree, it was her first experience of breaking away from the popular crowd, standing up for herself and doing what she wanted to do regardless of what others thought.

I've been watching early season 2 and I love all the little Cordy/Xander moments even before they finally kiss in What's My Line Pt. 2. For example, she totally checks him out in Halloween after he gives her his jacket. It's pretty hot.

I love how at the end of "Some Assembly Required", Cordelia comes up to Xander and tries to thank him for saving her. It was a sweet moment for her but he just brushes her off. Can't say she didn't try!

^Right? She was trying to thank him and she was actually being very sweet about it and he blew her off and then complained to Willow about not getting any dates. Loved that.

I was watching Surprise and Innocence the other night. So great for these two. Xander tries to ask her to be his date for Buffy's party and it doesn't go so well, and yet she's at the party anyway, of course, and they are standing together.

They were so cute in s2, but s3 isn't nearly as cute, aside from 3.01 when they're nervous about seeing each other again. After that they barely get any quality time before they're breaking up.
