Yep, that was when it happend

Plus, there were lots of little touches too, so they were definitely physically comfortable with each other from the beginning - & you get the sense that Gunn had a thing for her as early as 3x03 when he smiled at her when she was singing karaoke

It did, & it gave her a lot of skills that I don't think most people thought about. She was very resourceful & always found a way out of a bad situation - but with the Angel gang, & she became more fearless, she didn't want to run away anymore
