Though i'm a big B/A shipper i liked Darla and Angel especially Darla with Angelus. It was always interesting to watch both of them years ago and years later,Angel never did quite get over her plsu she kind of shaped him to what he is or became.

He's a vampire because of her. But I think it's kinda unfair to Angel to say Darla made him into the awesome guy he became. She really wasn't there anyway. He earned that all on his own.:D

I guess you guys have a different definition of who he is then.:shrug: I'm not saying Darla didn't make him. He still exists because of her, gave him the ability to live forever. She made Angelus, they roamed together, he got a soul and went off on his own and sought redemption. Him being a good person really had nothing to do with her. The stench of his soul made her sick. That's why I think I enjoy Angelus and Darla more than Angel and Darla. Although Angel and Darla were very entertaining.:D

And I mean no offense to you guys. I'm just very protective of Angel and think he took what she gave him and made the best of it. I think he should fully get the credit of being such a good guy. He had some influence along the way but it really came down to what he wanted to do with it.:)

I wasn't trying to say that Darla made Angel good. I was just stating he would've never had to the chance to become good and live so long if it weren't for her changing him into a vamp. ;) You're right, he deserves all the credit for becoming good. His own strength and mind power overcame his dark side. Not that I minded his dark side all that much. Him as Angelus was pretty damn sexy. I love a bad boy. Still....good is always better in the end so yeah, I prefer Angel hands down.

Yeah Darla probably didn't make him good but i loved the interaction between Angel and Darla. It was powerful and captivating to watch. I think if Darla stuck around with her soul their could have been some scenes where they really showed how much they understand and could help each other. Their's a history there even if it is bad and it was fun to watch, for me anyway.

I think if any Angel comes up in the future then they should bring Julie Benz back as Darla and keep her alive this time! Maybe she could be a vampire with a soul? Her own soul.

Yes! I always wanted Joss to make a show centered around Angel/Darla both with souls or a show about Angelus/Darla and all the evil they did together. :)
