& it was pretty interesting how she talked about love...

Yeah. Well she did mention love about him when she talked about him in BTVS... we probably were suppose to forget about that though.:gone:

Lots of little things went against Angel's insistence that he couldn't feel real love as Angelus :look:

It is, it's funny - but not surprising - that writers write way better relationships when they're just trying to think about the characters & let that relationship develop naturally, instead of thinking 'this has to be the best, relationship ever, they're just meant to be from the beginning and that's pretty much the whole story'

I agree! and that's probably why those relationships work better because it comes organically and they aren't doing it just for agenda purposes or because they "have to" ... it just happens when you see the chemistry and I guess you see the pattern of how the relationship was written! and than it just click together.

Darla and Angelus were the only vampires in the BTVS world that couldn't feel love... such BS.:rotfl: :lmao:

Yeah, I just wish the writers could see it that way instead of thinking, okay, let's get back to how it was in the beginning. When you've got a show that runs for years, you've got to accept that sometimes the detours become the journey

Yeah... it's not the 90s or the 80s anymore.:lmao: Time to change that ridiculous thinking...
Or even early 2000s.:gone:

I do feel like it's a bit better now then it was, but I also think that has a lot to do with social media, which has it's downsides too...

I definitely agree with you on that! Social media can sort of go both ways... although I believe many people's thinking got better of what they tolerate... a lot of the popular couples of the past couldn't be as popular if they existed now I believe.

I think so too, a lot of shows would be pretty different if they were on now...

Nearly killed this thread :yay:

For some reason I didn't see your reply... Don't know what happened but I finally saw it yesterday which is why I replied so late.
