Here is the vid where James says this and more.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akp4IyNgEl8 He gives a really good answer and mentions he thinks Spuffy are going to reunite in the Comics. In the end James says that Spike is Buffy's mature love. __________________

I am both shocked and thrilled that the actors still attend conventions where they discuss these relationships, after so many years. I really should go to one of those... When is the next one featuring former 'Buffy' cast....?

OMG, Little Stewie! Have you never been to a Con? They really are a lot of fun! I met James at a Creation Con last year and he is unbelievably nice and so friendly to his fans. (I think I fell a little more in love with him after I met him. )If you go on James' Facebook page, I think he has his convention schedule listed. |

I like that James didn't say one way or the other who Buffy loved more because like he honestly said we grow/change and become diff. people and that is very true. I felt like that part of his answer was really smart does make a lot of sense too.
I feel like that is true with Buffy actually. She was a lot diff. when she loved Angel and Spike. I think they are her 2 great loves and she loved them in diff. ways. I feel Angel is Buffy's first love and that's special. She will always love him. Spike is her mature love and the one I see her with in the end. To look at it in a realistic way like James said at first it's hard to actually measure love. I think when he said Spike is her mature love he meant more about how she was a woman and not a girl anymore. Buffy had grown up by then and had gone through more pain than most people ever do and loved/saw life diff. I hope that makes sense. The Spuffy shipper in me tells me she loved Spike more though.  I also love that Riley wasn't even mentioned.  __________________

The first time I got his autograph and the second my picture taken with him. James is such a sweetie and obviously loves meeting his fans. I got to meet him when he still had his Spike look.
