That they were girls without any sense of competition... too often younger girls will end up with that so it was nice for Joss to let them have a mature relationship where they weren't competing for some guy or playing who looks better or any of that.

That was the things I loved about it. They were just friends. They didn't have to compete over anything.

They didn't come in with a triangle like Willow and Buffy or have that whole trying to be useful to the job or whatever. There was no who's tougher fight or anything like that. __________________

Nope, no competition no need to outdo each other or impress each other. They were on different planets but at the same time could bond.
