It looks like they have (Buff TVS wise) all of S1, some of 2, and none of 3. Hopefully they do keep updating those. Sadly it looks like Angel is just dvd rips.

It's mainly a deal with Whedon being very particular about wanting it done right. Basically, the show was meant to be viewed in a 4:3 ratio, rather than widescreen. When you go back and try to make the show wide-screen like that, there's a lot of stuff in shots that shouldn't be visible.

Plus, they did kinda screw it up with BTVS, but I'd still rather have it than not have it...

I understand wanting it done right and I want it done right. But I think there's only so much they can do. Neither show was made for widescreen so of course things aren't going to be perfect.

But yeah I would rather have it widescreen and in 1080p than not have it.

Exactly. HD makes it seem all shiny and new and a lot of people would love to work with that and create new things.

And speaking of I forgot to comment on that gifset. Those scenes make want to hug and protect Cordelia so badly.
