Yeah that's a great moment, one of the best of the show imo.

It isn't the best season but I like it much more than other seasons of the show so it's about in the middle for me. I really liked seeing Buffy's relationship with the scoobies develop and how she dealt with being a slayer and a student.

I do love seeing her friendship with the scoobies, I watched Angel today & I love how Giles came to the hospital when her mom was there

I know, just a great mentor and father figure he was to Buffy in the early seasons.

They really did care about each other so much, it was really sweet to see in those scenes where they had to be there for each other

Buffy and Giles' father/daughter relationship was one of my favourtie dynamics on the show. It still saddens me how they pretty much closed the relationship by having Buffy shut him out for going behind her back and setting up Spike in the final season
