I would definitely say so.

Buffy, Willow, Oz, Xander, Cordy and Giles. Angel too. But more the first five.

Angel's not a scoobie.

I think Willow/Xander/Giles and then Buffy were the first then Cordy and then Oz. But yeah those five were the originals.

Why isn't Angel a scoobie?

Just like I would say : Anya, Tara, Spike are part of the Scoobies later on. Sometimes even Andrew and Dawn

IDK I just don't consider Angel or Spike a part of the scoobies. I don't know why but I just can't see it. Mostly I think because Angel didn't really associate as much with the others as he did with Buffy. Dawn is a scoobie, Andrew- he's a wannabe scoobie.

I dont really think Dawn is a true Scoobie. I mean she never really did anything productive to help out. Where as Angel and Spike did.

Cordy wasnt a scoobie but she might as well have been. She was there with them for all the major parts of S1. Angel...is a toughy. But Dawn is totally a scoobie, she was there for the meetings and later on when she got old enough (s7) she stepped up to the plate and was doing research.

But I also loved the scoobies last scene with one another, all just sitting there staring at the highschool. Priceless. I always wondered why none of them mentioned where Cordelia went at the beginning of S4 though.

Yeah she did help and do research. She found out what was after Willow and skinned that person in Same Time, Same Place.

I just think that Angel and Spike weren't scoobs. They were there and helped out the same maybe even more but idk it seems so nerdy to call them scoobies.

Yeah I definitely can see why you wouldnt call them Scoobies - that does sounds too nerdy They were "sort of" Scoobies, I guess.

Dawn, I can see it but still..its weird to me. S7 yes though.

well, they mentioned Cordelia in Pangs, but I don't recall any other mention of her after that, I kinda thought that they should have said something about her turning evil in S4 of Angel though, it always kinda felt wrong to me that they just completely forgot her, because she did help them slay vampires and do research and stuff

I guess she was never really a part of the group so it didn't matter that she wasn't there?

true, but she did help with the slaying at the begining of Season 3 when Buffy was gone, remember ? So they should've at least mentioned her, I think.
