Yes, some great writing indeed on Angel. It took me a while to really start liking this show but I really did end up loving it and caring a lot for the characters, even Cordy. I was so heartbroken when she died.

They destroyed her character in season three. I admit I was happy when she was gone to but I understand that it would hurt her fans.

I wasn't that broken up when Cordy died either and character deaths usually get to me. Her character was just misused after s3 and the Connor stuff *shudders*, just a complete disservice to the character. I know it was tied into that whole Jasmine plot but still...

Notes:
Unlike almost every other Viewing Guide I've come across, this one places Angel episodes before Buffy episodes in almost all cases save for instances when doing so would be an obvious contradiction or disruption of narrative flow.

The guide also keeps multi-part episodes or episodes with interconnected cliffhangers or thematically linked arcs sequentially grouped together.

I will also admit to having really struggled with Angel Season 4 and Buffy Season 7, largely due to the fact that numerous episodes in both seasons are contiguously sequential, leaving little narrative space to switch back and forth between the two series.

That's why I ended up delaying the Angel S4 premiere, Deep Down, until after the Buffy Season 7 episode Bring On the Night and the Buffy S7 episode Dirty Girls until after the Angel S4 finale, Home, as doing so ended up being the easiest way to sync the two seasons together and preserve, as best as possible, their respective narrative flows.
