I kinda liked it though, how Connor was so resistant to killing Angel even after Cordelia told him to - a couple months before, if she had told him to kill Angel he would have done it without any hesitation at all.

Yeah, he didn't like to show that his feelings had changed, but you could tell they had. He knew that Angel was good & had done a lot of good.
