The harp that once through Tara's halls
The soul of music shed,
Now hangs as mute on Tara's walls
As if that soul were fled.
So sleeps the pride of former days,
So glory's thrill is o'er,
And hearts that once beat high for praise,
Now feel that pulse no more!

No more to chiefs and ladies bright
The harp of Tara swells;
The chord alone that breaks at night,
Its tale of ruin tells.
Thus Freedom now so seldom wakes,
The only throb she gives
Is when some heart indignant breaks,
To show that still she lives.

I've got a few ideas I've written down for this Viking AU, which I'm hoping to turn into a fic at somepoint.

Basically, it goes like this.

1.) Willow is part of a small group that is captured by Tara's people on a raid. She's English, and for some reason, Tara takes a liking to her.
2.) It somehow leads to Tara and Willow spending time with one another, which consists of them trying to figure out a way to communicate with one another. At first, it's simple things, like hand gestures and drawings. Then, Willow tries to teach Tara English, which is a challenge for her at first, but eventually, Tara learns some of it. And in turn, she teaches some of her own language to Willow.
3.) At some point, the teaching begins to turn into flirting, something that Willow struggles a bit with, given her upbringing in England.
4.) Eventually, before Tara leaves to go on a raid, she kisses Willow, since the latter is worried about her.
