24 - Spoiler Rules Update - Please read and respond.

Hi 24 fans!

The new season isn't here yet ~~and won't be for a long time~~ but Ju (probably) and I wanted to make sure that everyone is up to date on the spoiler rules.

The Fan Forum Spoiler Rules have been changed as of November 24th, so please take the time to bring yourself up to date:

Spoilers:
• No spoilers about any new or current television shows are allowed on the television show forums, and they should only be posted on the Spoilers Forum. Information is considered to be a spoiler if it details something that has not yet been broadcast anywhere in the world. Promos that have already aired, clips (up to one minute) hosted on the TV Channel Website, episode stills released by the network, and small episode descriptions are not considered to be spoilers. We’ve added some further clarification concerning this information:
• Promos that have already aired on TV are not considered to be spoilers.
• Clips (little episode snippets, usually up to one minute), like those hosted on the TV Channel Website - are not considered to be spoilers.
• Episode Stills are released by the channel and are not considered to be spoilers, but we request that members don’t use stills for a future episode in their avatars until after that episode airs, because avatars can be seen all over Fan Forum, and we want to respect the wishes of members that don’t want to see any spoilers for an upcoming episode, and that includes seeing any future episode stills in an avatar.
• Episode descriptions
1. Small snippets/blurbs from TV Guide/Entertainment Weekly etc. are fine.
2. Longer episode descriptions (like for example the ones FOX provides), even though they technically aren’t spoilers, should just be discussed on the episode discussion thread until the episode airs or they should be posted with spoiler tags in various threads on the television boards here.

Basically, everything mentioned above can be openly discussed on the television boards here, except for upcoming episodes.

24 is definitely one of those shows where one spoiler can ruin the rest of the season for you. Like, a lot of us were (are) miffed Tony's return in Season 7 was not kept a surprise because it's left us with so many questions and so long to wait for answers.
