Well here's hoping they use it in the movie! (Even though I can't see Carlos being in the first movie, but if they do future ones, I can see him making a return...)

Why you can't see him in the first one?

Two reasons. One they'll go for big 'blockbuster' names to get in the regular film goers. Carlos, sadly, doesn't fit the bill. Secondly, the film will (and should) be all about Jack. Tony deserves a significant amount of screen time, but the first film should be about Jack and Jack should get the majority of the screen time. Tony deserves screen time too, but as the movie should be about Jack, the second movie should be about the two of them.

They can have a big blockbuster names while having Carlos appear in the movie so I don't entirely agree with you on that.

I think the first thing they need to think of with the movie, is having a great story.

Yes but a story revolving round Jack. Tony deserves a story all to himself, like with Season 7. A film is only a couple of hours, as apposed to a long series arc, so time will be limited. Jack should be the centre of the first one, and the second (if they do it) should be Jack/Tony...

Watched 2 hrs of Dallas premiere no Carlos . Understand he will be in this weeks episode . I can see where will fit into the plot .

Larry Hagman for those who don't watch re runs , made his name on I Dream Of Jeanie 1970's show . Thus the famous bottle in his hand for his Genie to come out of bottle grant any wish .Add in she was hot !!
