Richard Heller? It'd be interesting to see how his character is... I wonder if most 24 fans even remember him though?

Regardless of whether he returns (Highly doubtful, for the reasons you articulated) but I just wonder whether he and Heller ever built bridges...

To be fair, his son did unintentionally aid terrorists and refuse to tell anyone... I can see why his dad would be a tad miffed with him...!

But I essentially agree... It was unintentional so hopefully he can forgive him...

That's why I said I understand Heller being upset.

I do hope eventually he can forgive him, life is to short to be upset with the person you helped bring into the world... It's not like he tried to kill him.

..... well that was some dangerous information.

BUT from Richard's point of view, I understand him being afraid...

Tbh, if they haven't made up, it could be on Richards side... Richard did have some serious issues with his Dad and his Dad did authorise his torture... So if they're still at odds it may come from Richard, and not Heller...?

Yeah... but Richard didn't seem to hate his father that much in the end, James Heller was the one upset with Richard...
I guess like Kim and Jack, sometimes the child has to make the choices when to reunite.

I hope the writers remember a Richard Heller exist.

Heller was definitely more upset, but I still sensed some resentment from Richard at the end with the 'I bet you're even more disappointed' and 'don't you dare put that on me Dad'. Who knows, maybe in the days to come, Richard may well revert back to his arrogant stance he took at the start of Day 4, or maybe he will have matured...

Like a character can be developments and turn more into a like character [Chloe] or you can get development more and turn into a not so liked character [Karen].
