He was so good in the Xfiles. He played a guy who was obsessed with the Brady Bunch and was using his abnormal abilities to live a pretend life. It was a weird but ultimately very sweet episode and he just blew me away.

Oh that's right!!! What a quirky episode!! One of the last, wasn't it? Just the one before the series finale.
It's funny that he got so famous thanks to Lost, just like Terry O'Quinn, two fantastic actors, who both played in the Xfiles btw, and that nobody knew up until Lost when they have done so many things before! Fame is a b*tch!

Terry as a lawyer...mmm...interesting thought. I've always pictured him as a military figure, probably because the first time I saw him it was on JAG and then there was Alias where he was a FBI guy.

It's a great show. Hard to tell what it's about ina few lines. The premise in the first season is about this guy who's a profiler. He used to work for the FBI but something happened with his wife and he quit. He has an uncanny ability to get into the minds of killers (and a somewhat paranormal gift for seeing the darkness in people and in situations). He is contacted by this ex colleague, played by Terry O'Quinn who belongs to a group called the Millennium group who is helping law enforcement with crime investigation by using unconventional methods.

It's very dark and gritty. Sometimes very violent too. But it's great on characterization, wonderfully acted and O'Quinn's character evolves a lot over the three seasons, giving him some great material.
