does germany get new shows quickly?

Holland often does, depends on network plus show.. but when airing they're often not that far off from USA

IT really depends. Sometimes yes. Like Harper's island, which started in January in America and two weeks ago here. or 90210 which started half a year after it premiered in the states.

Most of them time it takes longer than a year

ETA: Mentalist aired pretty early too. Cause the last episode of season 1 aired a month ago

we have some shows that come here earlier too then the other.. gossip girl, 90210, the mentalist and shows like that came here pretty early on, but now we get fringe, which already starts its 2nd season now and it just premiered here.. so it really depends..

I think 7 out of 10 come pretty quickly though, I hope TGW will be the same case.

I don't watch shows on Dutch TV, but I believe Bones is also one that is close to the show in the USA.
