It's not a problem. I hope and I'm thankfully for him to be more "active". My problem, or rather, my fear is that they use the women surrounding Cary, for nothing else than to assemble a web for Kalinda. What would be, in my opinion, a bad option.

The problem is they are not evolving, they are devolving into whatever suits the needs of CBS to try and appeal to the younger demographics. That's disrespectful. If they want Cary to have one girlfriend an episode, I'm all for it. It'll be pleasant to watch. Just leave Kalinda out of it. No need to ruin the character just to give Cary someone to have a fling with!

I know most fans of his character go to the Matt board,but this thread needs love to let people know we exist. I want Cary to date more. I am in the minority I'm a Cary fan but I'm not as crazy about CK as most people are. I like their scenes mostly because it gives Cary something. i am okay with him dating other people

I think Cary and Kalinda have deep feelings for each other, even if they're not so sure about the "nature" of those feelings, and I'd really like to see writers to explore it. So yes, I ship them.
Said that, before any love interest, imo what Cary really needs is development. We don't know almost nothing about him, about his private life, his family. And it would be useful to understand his motivations, his attitude.
And it's season 3. I think it's about damn time.

Cary got more screen time last night. and him getting moved to a bigger office courtesy of Peter. I liked Cary in last night's ep. and then that girl he was with in the beginning of the ep. He does keep his contact with Kalinda.

Yup lots of Cary in this episode - Really liked him in this outing - He was my favorite part of the episode actually - Unfortunately the writing wasn't so great but Matt did a good job with what he was given

Quite like Dana ( Monica Raymund right ) is she going to be around more

Also did she and Cary do the deed or just kiss - I guess the writers left that up to us to decide!!
