And yet the critics are enjoying the hell out of it apparently. But then what are the critics not enjoying? :look:

Personally I am still enjoying the show. I still consider it the best on TV these days. That said, I consider this season a big jump into the wrong direction compared to last year. Too many things that are not making sense and/or story lines that get dropped.

I think Alicia is running because she was just disgusted with how the SA's office and Castro were manipulating the law and such. At least that's how I always interpreted it. I never thought she was running directly because of Cary. He was part of it, but not the main reason. So I was surprised when Diane claimed that it was the reason she was running...maybe that's what Alicia told them. Who knows. I still love the show, but this season isn't as good imo. The storytelling is a tad weak. |

When is the next episode airing? After the awards season?
To me this episode was a return to form. I haven't followed the racial discussion in America as I am not a local, but I appreciate that the the show is not afraid to handle sensitive topics. |

But if they keep going that way, it'll be perfect symmetry: Alicia gets elected, gets caught with one of her boy-toys and the last scene of the show is her resignation speech with Peter standing by like the dutiful husband  |

I am reallly curious as how they will end the series. A S7 is kind of sure to happen, but I wonder how it ends. I bet season 6 will end with Alicia winning the elections and the Kalinda exit story line handled in 5 minutes :P
