And yet the critics are enjoying the hell out of it apparently. But then what are the critics not enjoying? :look:

Personally I am still enjoying the show. I still consider it the best on TV these days. That said, I consider this season a big jump into the wrong direction compared to last year. Too many things that are not making sense and/or story lines that get dropped.

The whole scene with her getting mad at Diane was so forced. They are desperate to give her a reason to run and it's not working.
Agreed  I had to rewatch the scene because it just didn't make sense to me. It still doesn't.

I think Alicia is running because she was just disgusted with how the SA's office and Castro were manipulating the law and such. At least that's how I always interpreted it. I never thought she was running directly because of Cary. He was part of it, but not the main reason. So I was surprised when Diane claimed that it was the reason she was running...maybe that's what Alicia told them. Who knows.

I still love the show, but this season isn't as good imo. The storytelling is a tad weak.

I am loving the writing every year it's been on. Isn't this the last year? Also, what do you think alicia was going to say to john when she started with I... And he said what? Was John irritated then? If he does have interest in her why his he backpedaling?

When is the next episode airing? After the awards season?

To me this episode was a return to form. I haven't followed the racial discussion in America as I am not a local, but I appreciate that the the show is not afraid to handle sensitive topics.

Honestly problem this season: Plot in front of character.

And not only that, the characters are disappearing. Let me count the casualties: Will, of course, Zach, Jackie, Owen, Veronica, Peter (sort of), Cary (barely there in spirit), Diane (just going through the motions), Kalinda (where the hell is that exit door?), even the ones we love to hate....Louis Canning and Patti Nyholm, and then what is Finn there for.? They have done zilch to develop him. It's all so heart-breaking. If the end-game is to turn Alicia into a lonely kick-ass politician, they've succeeded. This once stellar show is going out with a whimper.

I read it will return in March. 10 episodes in a row I think.

I think Cary jail sl was strong but everything else is weak. I agree that why I think she is running. I don't get how Alicia made it a gender issue. I still like this shoe but it's suffering from the syndrome shows in their last two years have losing steam

This is very very true

For real. I love Alicia, but I don't need her to kick ass every episode to know I love her. I loved her since the pilot, since she got up and went back to work to help her family. I don't need her kicking everyone's ass this season to know I love her, that doesn't make her more lovable or awesome to me at all.

Hey they always knew what the end of the show would be  well, they adjusted a little

But if they keep going that way, it'll be perfect symmetry: Alicia gets elected, gets caught with one of her boy-toys and the last scene of the show is her resignation speech with Peter standing by like the dutiful husband

The scary part is that this might actually happen........

Lol. I could see that too

Nah they are trying to make her look like a politically (pardon the pun) correct Kalinda, not like Peter. She's still the "hero" of the story. They'll probably end with her acceptance speech or such

Alwayshappy 01-22-2015 03:21 AM

I am reallly curious as how they will end the series. A S7 is kind of sure to happen, but I wonder how it ends. I bet season 6 will end with Alicia winning the elections and the Kalinda exit story line handled in 5 minutes :P
