In Britiain we tend to use "phone" or "telephone" rather than call. We also use "call" but in a very specific way for example, If you are asking someone to "call" someone for you. Otherwise it is always phone or telephone.

I was just rewatching the episode and does anyone else think they could have brought Stern's daughter back for that one scene at his house? I mean they even had Alicia mention her in the first scene.

I agree..I mean we don't even know who the hell are the people there..what's their relationship with Stern...esp those people Diane talked to. The only family member that we know is Stern's daughter and she wasn't there..I was expecting her to see on his dad's funeral. Anyway, I felt sad that he's dead...I was expecting of another episode of him battling with Alicia on the court...but they killed him.

And that elevator scene with Alicia and Tammy talking..love it...esp to Alicia's reaction when Tammy told her that she knows about the triangle between her sister, Will and Alicia. And you can see Alicia's eyes glow when Tammy mentioned that Will dumped her sister for her. And I saw a little annoyance from Alicia's reaction when Will left her and went to his office bec Tammy's there waiting for him.

Anyway, I felt sad that he's dead...I was expecting of another episode of him battling with Alicia on the court...but they killed him.

They worked it well into the script with Diane's and Will's reactions but I was a little surprised they killed him. What was the point really? They could have had Canning drop in any other way. It was a little weird bringing Conway back for this.

And I saw a little annoyance from Alicia's reaction when Will left her and went to his office bec Tammy's there waiting for him.

So, Stern gone. A pity because the character had a sharp wit. But it's nice to see that Alicia is being disputed, it has a very special flavor even. I hope she's being wise by not accepting.

Michael J Fox needs no comment. And I think I like this judge, he knows how to bring order to the circus.

So sweet that protective attitude of Cary by Kalinda. And I agree with him, I think she was friends with Alicia after having slept with Peter. She saw that the other did not deserve. And the thing is moving ever more to a sad outcome.
