My thoughts on last night's game after watching the whole thing....
I don't understand why our team has become the weak first half team who finally wakes up the second half. We definitely showed more intensity and skill the second half. What the heck is wrong with Berhalter? The choice of Ferreira over Pepe was asinine to begin with, but to keep him in the game for that long was even more stupid. That missed shot was soooooooo horrible! A sure goal that wasn't. What does Berhalter think this will do to Pepe's psychie? Pulisic! He had a terrible game. It appeared that he didn't even know his role...the collision with Robinson could have been a disaster. Or goal in the second half took the sails out of El Salvador....thank God. And...thank God for a home crowd! Yay..Ohio! McKennie! That was scary. Hopefully he's not too banged up because he is so vital to our team. Added thoughts....I sure wish Jamaica had beaten Mexico. Damn! And with Canada also winning....the standings have stayed the same. We really need to get as many points from these 3 games that we can, because our last three games in March are all away games which won't be pretty! Question: Why is it that Sunday's game against Canada will only be available for us to watch in Spanish? Why is it that we already pay for sports channels with our cable companies, but still are expected to pay more to Paramount + in order to watch these vital games???? Infuriating.
