The second Wash released him I thought if anyone can fix him maturity-wise it’s Pittsburgh.

Here’s the interesting part… He was more mature and dedicated when he was in college with the Ohio State Buckeyes. So as a college student and player he was more mature than a pro. Why? Urban Meyer was his coach, Ohio State football is big-time, and he had the right people around him. He goes to Washington, he grew up in the area, he just did not have the right support system and he went off the rails. Get him with the Pittsburgh Steelers organization and if anyone can bring him back to Ohio State form it’s Tomlin.

So we’ll see. The upside is high as the sky. Dude can throw the ball like a bullet with accuracy.

Not everyone thinks that though

Everyone’s going to have an opinion. I know him from Ohio State. Throw in all other factors and Pittsburgh is smart checking him out. Some predicted he’d go number 1 in his draft class. That doesn’t happen without endless talent and upside. We’ll see. Steelers are getting him for virtually nothing. Not sure how anyone could say this was a bad move. Not seeing it. Mason’s still on this roster too and while he might not have been tremendous in his last game, he certainly has improved a bit. They might push each other.
