A friend that hasn’t read the series just today said he read something that indicated Ron and Ginny were not portrayed properly in the films. I said that is correct, but also add in Hermione to the mix too.

In general, none of the actors really remind me of the book characters, including Dan. But when you throw in bad writing and this weird construction of these classic characters based on odd choices by the directors of each movie, the actors can only do so much.

I have been talking Star Wars. Those movies, the original three, are phenomenal. Harry Potter cannot say the same.

It’s really unfortunate because the older cast has endless talent. Imagine if the storylines were even better. But then again, the weakest part of the writing was clearly the Trio plus Ginny.
