I agree with the comment about the show being criminally underrated. Of course it is. There's a few shows on this network that lack severe quality and should be chucked already. The 100 deserves better. It reminds me of Everwood.... it really should have been on a different network all along. Also, some of the shows it's surrounded by don't hold a candle to its quality: Last edited by jediwands; 07-22-2017 at 11:10 AM |

Discovery Channel: Shark Week
Alan, you're traveling the Midwest right now but did you have to go there during Shark week? JK I know you enjoy this week every year too. I wish I could discuss with you! I watched all day long and plan on watching again once I settle in for the night. I'm even recording some programs! Earlier, I watched a Mako Shark take off the head/body of another Mako and that never happens! These two marine biologists got it on film... first time EVER on film seeing a Mako go there. So sweet. Also love learning about the temperature of the water and which sharks can be in certain areas as well as the evolution and how some are adapting to certain water conditions. It's just so freaken cool. I love Shark Week. |

Great Whites get a raw deal. Bull Sharks are way more aggressive and dangerous because they can swim in different kinds of water AND they love going shallow. Not to mention having the highest testosterone level in the water world. They are territorial, moody, aggressive.
Bull Shark Great Whites get most of the headlines but Bull Sharks may be the most dangerous shark of them all. It has been recorded in 69 unprovoked attacks on humans but researchers believe the numbers may be higher because of the lack of easily identifiable markings. And unlike most other sharks, it is also known to swim in freshwater. Perhaps the most famous incident occurred in 1916 when four people were killed in shark attacks over two weeks - three of the attacks took place in a tidal river called the Matawan Creek.
