Stranger Things 4.1

Brief thoughts or else I won’t get fully caught up. LOL.

1. Will clearly is crushing on Mike and is gay. He flinched when that girl touched him.

2. Eleven being bullied is so sad.

3. I know that Mike shows Eleven he loves her, he even told the group in S3 he loves her so it’s weird he can’t say it to her. There’s no doubt in my mind he loves her. I guess he’s just going through maturity stuff which makes sense given his age. I will bet he’ll say he loves her in the final two episodes of S4.

4. The villain is the scariest by far of the series.

5. I’m shocked people didn’t fully connect the flashback with the villain immediately.

6. Max so upset over Billy’s death is slightly weird. He sacrificed himself in the end but he truly was a bad person. I understand that she’s sad but she is completely broken right now and he truly was abusive to her.

7. Poor Lucas, his friends didn’t see the winning basket. I’ve been Lucas before where all my friends weren’t always present during games when I did good things and it sucked, haha.

8. New characters. Interesting.

9. The death at the end was horrible. A nice popular girl. That’s actually how my group of friends were in high school. Hate to admit it but it was the popular group but we were all nice, we weren’t like that horrible witch bullying Eleven.

10. Steve and Robin continue to be friendship goals.

11. Joyce and Murray are a great team up.

12. What is UP with Will's bowl cut circa 1986? C'mon show, not even the nerdiest most awkward kid was sporting that hairdo in that era and if they were it was like 1%!

13. Loved the Lucas and Erica Sinclair parallel of Lucas making the winning shot and Erica rolling the winning dice. Great stuff.

Yes. Vecna is pure psychological horror. The Upside Down have creatures running around, there’s violence, but we’ve never seen something as intellectually terrifying and psychologically evil as this.

Which is why I feel you’d like Stephen King novels. There’s plenty of material they take from King and sprinkle in the episodes. It’s really cool. :)

Relaxing and enjoying the rest of the season (still need to watch the last two of the season) as well as looking forward to S9 feels good, man. :yay:

It feels like it is. I hope it is as well. Jesse Martin will be around apparently next season thankfully but not sure yet how much. That’s good news too. Hopefully they’ll get Carlos back for a few if it’s the last season.
