It really makes no sense for an athlete to not want to get vaccinated as they're in close contact with other athletes due to the nature of the sport they play, so they stand a higher risk of getting COVID than the average person does.

Absolutely. It doesn't make any sense at all. This pandemic has been eye opening. So many people are so selfish and/or not capable of understanding what is going on.
