Florida has a large retirement population and yet... it is okay as long as the money keeps flowing.

I really think he only went there because Trump told him to go there. Imagine if Trump wouldn't have told him to go there, he might STILL have Florida with a liberal take on this virus without any sort of lockdown.

I honestly don't believe that the president wants the economy to get worse, so he feels that the states that don't have alot of cases should keep going. I don't agree.

I don’t agree either.

Economy is always a worry, but we can worry about that later. Plus, he knows it was the one thing he was good with so he doesn’t want it to completely collapse. He’d have to have rocks for brains if he doesn’t realize Americans understand why the economy is at risk right now and it will bounce back once we aren’t living like we’re in prison anymore.

Minnesota has some top companies not only in the country but entire world. We’ve been in lockdown for weeks and people listened. We have a passionate Governor who is taking things seriously. Look at Minnesota’s numbers. Lower. At least right now. It’s largely due to the Governor and people taking it seriously. It also helps the state is very big space-wise and the population isn’t super big.

Point being if the entire country would have jointly locked down a couple weeks ago our numbers wouldn’t be so high AND within our country we could help areas that are getting hit hard regardless based on way of life (subways, so close together) and enormous population aka NYC and NJ border near the city.

Trump contradicting Governor Cuomo (like doubting # of ventilators needed) is also pissing me off. He was born and raised in Queens and should have a soft spot for NYC. Apparently not.
