Very good thoughts. The only time I could see this coming up is if suddenly Delia would remember how tense things were back in NYC. I am not sure she would though because she was so young. But she could question the marriage somehow later on, she might want to remember her mother more since she lost her so young. She might remember all the fighting between her brother and father in Everwood and wonder why there was so much tension. She might start to ask questions as she explores more about her mother as an adult. Maybe not though. |

A version of this actually happened in my extended family... one of my aunts (through marriage) cheated on my uncle (my mother's brother) and my cousins never knew about it until they were adults. They started questioning things and found out. But this is slightly different because their mother is still alive and their parents split up and eventually divorced. They still wanted to know why the marriage broke up. They blamed my uncle for years thinking he was the biggest part of the divorce since he traveled a lot for work. Honestly, it takes two but my uncle is a great guy and that was the problem. His wife at the time wanted more spark and passion and fun in the marriage, not an actual marriage if that makes sense so she looked elsewhere. My cousins really viewed things differently when at ages 18 and 21, they found out the real reason why their parents marriage fell apart. They apologized profusely to my uncle for blaming him, not that he said it was necessary. Their relationships with my ex aunt was initially strained but average now. However, they are not anywhere near as close to her as they are to my uncle. Why did your sisters not miss The Bronx, Jerry? Did they also leave friends behind? I can totally see the parallel between you and Ephram and your sisters and Delia for sure. |
I agree that Delia would only know if she wanted to remember her mother. Or maybe if she was having a particularly hard day with Nina or Andy, she might yell something like "you're not my real mom" etc etc. But I think Delia would have a fairly good relationship with her stepmom and dad. Like a typical teen, I think she'd have her moments of wanting Julia there.
I would have loved to see Delia and Amy have a stronger relationship too now that Delia is getting older and Amy is (most likely ) going to be her sister in law. That would be fun to see. :D |

I think they would make excellent sisters in the future. I would love to see them interact in the future. Revival anyone? :fingers_crossed: |

Do you remember the New York Giants coach Bill Parcells Michelle? One time, my father and I were watching a Giants game back in the 1980's and they lost, and Parcells went on a tear, cursing and throwing things around, and I remember how appalled my father was that he would act like that, so I couldn't see him supporting Trump at all. |

If this revival takes place today, the characters are: Bright: 33 Ephram/Amy: 32 Hannah: :mad: ...I guess she's still on the show  31 Delia: 26  (how?) Sam: 23-ish (if we imagine him to be 8 or 9 when the show ends?) Harold/Rose: 62 Andy: 62 Edna: 86 (?) So does the next generation have kids? Do we imagine them with significant others, or single? Also, someone please correct me if my math is off :D I am terrible at it. |
