From the last Thread.....

I also jog sometimes around 3 AM, too. As my second mom how do you feel about that revelation?
Normally, I would scold you after hearing this revelation and say, "What's the matter with you? Don't you realize what could happen?!?" Then I remember that you jog in Minnesota where everyone is nice.

Here's a question... what would you prefer? Freezing, bitter cold temperatures you are forced to stay indoors as a result or heat so humid you need to shower three times a day just to stay cool? LOL.
My answer to this question would depend on what season you asked it. I'm sitting in my house right now with the thermostat way up, but I'm still feeling cold, because it's freezing outside. Right now my reply would be, "Give me that hot humid day and I'll just stay in the shower." Of course, if you ask me the same question this summer, I may have a totally different answer.

Easy answer to that question Mitch give me HOT all day! I can handle sweating....I can't stand being trapped inside because its too cold out to enjoy the sun. Haha I grew up going all over the state in the summers for rodeos....covered in sweat, dirt, and horse hair....thats the life.

I think I've finally figured out why Michelle and I don't like humidity. We're missing the horse hair.

Do the buses get shut down with the weather lately, Gaby? Or have they been able to keep running?
Keep running. They may run super late (Mom's said her bus -- which runs like once an hour -- has been 45 minutes late before), but they keep running.

Great answer.

I mean, if I were to get attacked the criminal might at least say please and thank you before and after?

That's exactly it, right? Both extremes suck while you're experiencing them so you think you'd prefer the other one you are not having to endure at the time. Indeed.

The best warm weather for me is California and Las Vegas... low humidity. Whenever I am in each area I always comment on how I could easily give up four seasons if I had this weather. But the key is the lack of humidity. Of course you have to deal with earthquakes in Cali so Vegas it is and I like to gamble too so it fits.

LOL, yeah. I would DIE in that atmosphere so more power to you! Seriously, after soccer games if I didn't get the sweat and heat off of my skin in a timely I would develop a rash on my sensitive skin! It was horrible. Not to mention how I cannot drink cold beverages in the heat on my sensitive stomach. Heat has never agreed with me, ever. I spent summers in the dermatologist office getting creams to apply on my skin before and after playing soccer because sweat and heat was like poison to my skin. No fun!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Hope all the couples have a great day. And the singles too. We'll go off and party somewhere.

No new snow, but there is still snow visible on the ground. Puddles because some has melted. Don't know how warm it got today, but it definitely felt more like spring than the dreadful winter.

We had a gorgeous day here. Some people even had their coats off...crazy people, but still people. But by the time it got dark, it was very cold again, so it's still winter for another month.

Yeah, my manager had his coat off when he came back from lunch and proclaimed "it feels like spring!" but yeah, it was cold by the time I left work at 7.

Heh, I bet he had his coat back on by the time the sun went down.

I think we're supposed to get a little snow at some point in the next few weeks, so maybe a little of what you guys got for so long will finally make its way up here.

Happy President's Day, Americans!

What exactly...do you guys do on this day? Or is it just a day off? With historical movies on TV? Hee.

By the way, I only noticed it was a holiday there today because hockey is on in America and it's the afternoon.

I'm off from school today and tomorrow. We don't do anything special...just stuff that one normally does when he's off from work. There was no mail delivery today, but I did wake up to more snow.

There was more snow here, too.

Still made the trek out to get my haircut and now I have two hours to kill before class. (Got here about 50 minutes ago, so really almost three hours.) Spending most of it working on my latest Animation project, but thought I'd take a break and post my new 'do:

Forgot to take some before pics though.
