Best Episodes of Season Four of Everwood

Hi everyone. Please vote for the best episodes of Season Four of Everwood. You can pick 3 episodes. This poll will run for 7 Days, and when it concludes, the top three episodes will be included in a final poll that will have the three best episodes from each season. When this poll is over, I'll post a poll for the next season, and we'll keep going until we've had polls for all of the seasons. Once all the polls have been concluded, the top three episodes for each season will be put into a final combined poll so you can vote for the best episode of the entire series. Thanks.

I'd like to use each thread as a discussion thread concerning why each person chose the episodes that they chose.

Here's a link to a website where you can find information about each Season Four Episode:

Everwood (TV Series 2002–2006) - Episodes - IMDb

I've added links to the previous polls so we won't have too many topped threads:

Season One Poll

Season Two Poll

Season Three Poll

Hey, I'm here! They have wifi here at the house so I can get on now and again.

There were a lot of contenders for this one, so I just went with the first episode and the last two to make it easier on myself.

This is very very difficult!! This is one of my favorite seasons and there are so many episodes I love.

I think that the last 2 episodes should be considered One episode! lol

Anyway....I'll be back with my reasons...but I picked: Connect Four, Foreverwood I and 2.

I want to add Getting To Know You and Goodbye Love...but it won't let me!

I will vote tomorrow. I was really busy this week which is why I haven't posted in the forum a lot.

I picked: Connect Four, Foreverwood I and 2.

I want to add Getting To Know You and Goodbye Love...but it won't let me!

Connect Four was an important episode for me mostly because of the campfire talk between Ephram and Andy. Ephram was actually teasing Andy..a very good sign. Sharing Grappa....beautiful! And...then...Ephram's reveal about the real reason he came back to Everwood...priceless!

Foreverwood 1 and 2
I really consider one episode..with "2" being the best part. How can I not choose this? A drunken/jealous Amy sharing her wisdom with Delia.....a very very hot dance full of heat that would not die...Amy realizing she loved Ephram and wanted to get him back. The planning...the grand gesture...the culmination during the ferris wheel scene...it couldn't get any better.

Getting To Know you...not only for the obvious scene...but afterward...the postcards..Ephram declaring his love to Amy.....just beautiful.

Goodbye Love...very moving episode. I especially loved the interaction between Ephram and Linda. Ephram speaking and lobbying for his dad...declaring that dad deserved to be happy. This is the final arrival of Ephram as a true respectful son.
I also adored the scene at the end of the episode when Ephram decided not to call Stephanie back...but rather...watch a movie and hang out with his best friend, Bright.

Arr! Twill be a tough decision! At least this season didn't have that Madison in it! She needs to walk the plank!

That's probably the most intelligent thing I've ever heard a scurvy pirate say.

Thanks for reopening the thread Jerry! As usual I vote for episodes most people won't, but hey voting is fun .

So these are the episodes I chose:

Getting to Know You
: I love Ephram and Amy moments in this episode. You know I'm not their biggest fan, but man the interactions they had in this episode were pure gold. From them studying together and Amy pinching her cheeks in front of Ephram to impress someone , to the kiss, them sleeping together and the postcards explanation. I loved everything about them in this episode.

All the Lonely People - I just felt this episode really real with the suicide story. It's not about how much I cared about Reid (I didn't), it's about the story itself. It's about young man wanting suicide and how his friends and family didn't really know what's going on. It was realistically done - from Reid and how he felt to how Ephram felt for not knowing that his roommate was that bad. This story was handled really well unlike Amy's depression. Sorry I just can't not mention this because really how Amy's family handled Amy's depression wasn't realistic. Amy's depression was realistic, but how Harold and Rose handled wasn't. Anyway back to the episode - one of the most realistic suicide attempts story that I've watched.

Foreverwood: Part 2 : Well it's the series finale so of course I would pick it. What I loved? Well first I loved Ephram/Nina talk and the way they interacted in those two final episodes. I loved drunk Amy. She was hilarious. I loved jealous Amy. She was hilarious too. I loved that finally Delia got her pony (great callback to the Pilot). And finally, but definitely not the least (it was just the tip of the iceberg) Andy/Ephram talking about Andy/Nina. Those two have gone through so much to reach the point where they would respect each other, would understand each other and would be able to communicate like two grownups. To me Everwood was first about them and them learning to accept each other the way they are and start seeing where the other is coming from and I think that in those 4 seasons they developed and learnt to do this. So I was glad that we saw them this way in the finale because to me this was the goal of the journey.
