Intestinal cramps and running to the bathroom. I remember being at parties watching every other kid drinking the delicious drink like crazy while I had to stick to water or pop. Pop was okay but I so wanted that Kool-Aid everyone else was having. I felt like an outsider to begin with based on personality but throw in not being able to drink that Kool-Aid and I felt like an even bigger outsider. I also have issues with drinking cold anything in the heat. One of the many reasons why I despise the heat... so during soccer games in the blazing heat I could barely ice my water or sports drinks and after the game I couldn't drink any pop that was artificially flavored (orange pop for example) and I had to wait until it was not so cold or else I was running to the bathroom. Fun times. Honestly? It sucked but that was how it had to be. My maternal Grandmother was the same way. So we'd always drink our beverages room temperature together. I remember at least feeling cool that I had to drink beverages exactly like my Grandmother, haha.

Makes sense  . I dislike gossip too unless it might help me for something. For example knowing that a co-worker is going through divorce might help me seeing why they are distracted. But overall I dislike gossiping. Once a female co-worker really annoyed me. Well she always annoys me because she is into gossip and she gets along with the HR and when they are together they are insufferable. Anyway when she found out who from the French office will be in our joined team she annoyed me 10 minutes during lunch to tell me how sexy he is. I so do not care. I work with him, I am not in a relationship with him. They even bothered M last year to tell him how he is lucky to have such sexy boss. He was like he is not my boss and I do not care if you find him sexy or not :lmao: .
 Annoying.

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago my mother told me that she heard about Indigo children and she thinks that I am one. She said that what they described as Indigo child fits in with me perfectly.

And this the purpose of the Indigo Children - https://innerself.com/content/person...l-mission.html. This is another link about their purpose - Indigo Children are Not Here to Challenge us, but to Teach us. And another link - https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/c...a_indigo30.htm
Oh that's right, you mentioned this before. I remember finding it amazing that your mom would find this. Mom's know all. :) This is SO you. Wow.

Ah this sucks  . To be honest I can't tell you why as a kid I decided to not drink anything other than water and sparkling water. As a kid I was guided by my Intuition. There were a lot of stuff that I would not eat or drink. Later on I realized that those are the things my stomach I can't stand. And even now I do not eat them as I know the effects now, but as a kid I just knew that I should not consume them.

My mother actually supported me in all of that so I always felt cool for not drinking that stuff. Every person around me would comment how I am like a grownup because no other kid prefers sparkling water over any other soda thing. They would always give me coke and my mother the sparkling water and we would switch them. And they would be this 2 year old does not want coke  . It was so funny.

I realized something when you asked me how I had decided what my boss wants to do with M. I realized that he never said the words to me that he wants to get rid of him. I felt that or I heard those words in my head. He offered silence, I filled in the blanks with my impression. And then I realized that I do this quite often with people. I just don't realize it. The only way for me to differentiate between people actually saying stuff to me and me thinking about them is if someone asks me to go back and explain them why I acted certain way. Then I realize that the impressions I have are in my head. They are quite accurate as it seems that I have made the right choices, but it's not something tangible that I could explain as it's part of my subconscious.

The same way I could spot emotionally repressed or not people. Like I interact with that person for 5 minutes and I will know if they would easily open up to people about their emotions or not and I know what to expect from them. And then I would know how they would express positive or negative emotions (if they are not the type of person to say it aloud).

Moms do know  .

Btw for some reason my niece wants to tell me and my mother something, but we can't figure out what as she does not say it. When she sees me she always touches her eyes (I think that this is related to me wearing glasses and her realizing that she does not have such), she touches her nose (no idea why expect the fact that I like to touch her nose with my finger and she enjoys it) and then she touches her hair (she likes to touch my hair and likes the fact that it's so long). She does the same when she sees my mother. However when my mother asks her if she is asking about me, she says nothing. The kid wants to say something I am sure of it, but I can't figure out what as she does not say the words.

That really is incredible. I wish I would have known specifically what was going on with my GI tract that early. I mentioned before they had to check me for Cystic Fibrosis because as a newborn the formula would go right through me. They did all kinds of tests, even serious ones and that's when they came up with food/environmental allergies and sensitivities, artificial flavoring being a huge one. They didn't find the IgA Deficiency (which was causing everything) until way later though. That is because your IgA Level can be lower as a child and go higher eventually. So I assume they saw my IgA was lower. They didn't realize it went even lower (to 0 lol) as I grew older which is severely abnormal at any age.

Anyway, incredible that you just knew.

LOL Amazing. I remember both my mom and Grandmother making it "cool" that I couldn't drink certain things and had to have them a certain temperature. They were also great about my sensitivities. I couldn't imagine having family who didn't support this sort of thing. Good that we never had that. :)

Indigo Children could certainly be responsible for this. I am sure you've had this going on forever too.

Wow, it really sounds like it! So interesting. How often does your mom see her when you're not around? It's very possible she's almost trying to say something to you and is giving your mom a message to relay this information. Or she misses you and remembers how you touch her face/nose for fun/play. So cute. :D

I feel like you and me had similar issues, but we solved them in the opposite direction  . You were sensitive and you knew that you were sensitive, but the doctors were not able to identify until late what was going on.

For me it was the other way around. I was seen as the stubborn kid that does not want to eat stuff just because. On the other hand I thought that it's completely normal to not a lot of stuff. Much later I realized my stomach issues. I also realized that for the most part I was following the food separation rules just guided by my Intuition.

In the end though we both know what's going on and we have an idea how to deal with it and that's good!

As a kid I was very peculiar about safety. Everyone around me considered me as a kid that gets scarred easily because I would never go up high, I would never try to jump from high and stuff like that. Much later I realized that I knew what could happen if I do that. Most young kids have no idea about danger. I was the other way around. I would observe the kids my age and calculate right away what could happen to them.

Definitely. I just always thought that this was normal and happens to everyone. Much later I realized that it does not happen to everyone. Or not to that extent.

This is what I thought as well but then she would have confirmed that she thinks about me when my mother is asking her. She also does the same thing with me and I am there.

So I had this LG monitor from my desktop computer that I was not able to use with my old laptop. I tried today to use it with the new laptop but I realized that I had no way to connect them. I bought HDMI cable (for like 7 $) and now I am able to use it. So cool. I put on movies on it as it's larger and then I chat and post in the forum using the laptop display.

See this is why I do not need TV. The second monitor is like a medium size TV. Also it's full HD as my laptop screen so they are fully compatible.

Also remember how in the past I complained that I can't order here Capuchino or Latte with almond/coconut/soy milk? Well now I can. Today I tried almond milk. Next time I will try different one to see which one I will like the best.

She is still in the hospital. She is on an I’ve drip( she hasn’t been eating at all for days) and they put her on oxygen while they run more tests. They say she has pneumonia but are checking for a stomached bacteria too.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Shu. I hope the tests precisely figure out what is wrong and she gets better very quickly. It seems the best place for her right now is the hospital while they figure things out and she gets proper fluids and nutrients too. I will continue praying for your sister to get well soon.

Perfect summary! Amazing how we did have a similar issue too, lol.

Do you know how the sun/heat can make me physically ill like with skin issues, digestive issues? Do you react in a similar manner due to the cold in addition to feeling sad and gloomy?

Awesome! I can totally see why you don't need a TV, you have something better! I would love to see a picture sometime.

Really cool you can go with almond milk now. I wonder if the elimination of dairy has helped with this? Now you will be able to eat some other things that dairy was affecting but without the dairy you can reintroduce foods/drinks and maybe you can handle these things just fine now?

 Shu keep us posted on how it's going!

Is it possible that she had caught the swine flu? My mother told me that there is another swine flu epidemic and as far as I know swine flu could lead to pneumonia.

Is her immunity low? Maybe check with the doctors to use some Immunostimulants. This saved my cousin few years back when the doctors that we have only praying as an option. It might help your sister too!

They are giving her immunostimNts since ds tend to have a low immune system. She is off the oxygen mask since her blood oxygen is back to normal. They also have her on antibiotics for the pneumonia. The lack of appetite is still a mystery and we are awaiting test results. My carpet is being removed tomorrow so she will come home to a safer room.

I am bothered by both the heat and the cold. I get skin conditions during the summer. I get itchy fluid filled blisters on my hands and feet. It's quite annoying, but I have getting since young age. Something like that:

The blisters are bigger on my feet. Sometimes I had to use a needle to burst them when it comes to my feet because it would bother me during walking. It's called dyshidrotic eczema.

I can't tolerate the cold at all. If I have to stay for long periods in temperature below 77 F all my hands veins pop and become red. My nails become blue/purple.

She is in the middle. She could do sometimes crazy stuff, but still has some instinct that is quite good. For example my mother told her to not touch the heater because it will hurt and she trusted my mom and does not try doing it.

Yeah though with HDMI you could also hook up real TV to your computer. I was afraid that it might not work as my monitor is quite old - since 2010. However it turned out to be fully compatible with my laptop.

The thing that I have noticed though is that almond milk causes specific headache for me. I always have headache, but I could differentiate between them. Every time I have consumed almond milk I would get headache. The same happened yesterday as well. Next time I will try other cow milk alternative to see how I would feel.

P.S: Damn it. I got used to my laptop these days and now I have issues with my work computer. It is slower than the laptop and the keyboard requires a lot more efforts to type.
