Well I stopped watching around Season 6 - the new fellows weren't that interesting as the old ones, plus if I have to be honest I kind of liked Chase and I think that actor is really good and they underused him (even in the first three seasons it was obvious that Foreman and Cameron were on the front and he was in the background).

House sometimes annoyed me, but sometimes he was really awesome and Wilson was the only genuine friend of House so they had this really special relationship. And Wilson was the only one that really got House and how many pranks they've done together. Awesome friendship.

P.S: I'm actually now catching up and watching the episodes from Season 7 and 8.

Totally agree with everything you just said! I didn't care for the new characters and pretty much stopped watching. I loved Chase and he was underused.
House and Wilson made a wonderful couple...really close friends through all the bickering.
I had mentioned on the board that Dr. Cuddy (Lisa Edlestein) was a student of mine years ago when she was in 4th grade. She's from my town.

I like that in the end Chase got House's place though. In my opinion he was the best out of box thinker out of the three original and deserved this. Sorry if I spoiled you, but I know the end of the show and in the end Chase takes House's place as diagnostician. Anyway I'm now watching Jesse Spencer in Chicago Fire. The show is not something superb, but he is the lead and he is a good actor and they definitely give him good drama stories to play - someone totally different Chase and he makes it so well that I forget that he was Dr Chase.

Wow that's so cool about Lisa Edelstein. Did you recognize her as soon as you started watching House or you found out later?

I knew of her as an actress way before House. She has been in lots of stuff.

Yeah, I liked also the comment about the hair. This is a running joke in the show - for some reason House (Hugh Laurie's character) is always impressed by Chase's hair (the one that made the cheekbones comment).
