best fight in movie history

my favourite scene from the whole saga though would probably be the end of the first one...when you first see Jack about to be hung. I love that whole escape, and when James let's Elizabeth go.

Still need to watch POTC 3 at some point today or this week but I remember everything from the Saga, so just going to comment now

What do you think of the character James Norrington?

My Norrington he was all about moral's and doing the right thing, he always was even if doing the right thing was the wrong thing. Even in the 2nd one when he took the heart and took it back to Beckett. It was a normal thing for him to want his position back and some respect, so I didn't have an issue with it even if it went against his character. He later made it right by letting the pirates go and saving Elizabeth. He even might have became a pirate again but instead he was killed

What do you think of Norrington's love for Elizabeth Swann?

Related to this ship, its a one sided for why I like them because I personally like her with Will but also did the mutli-shipping of her with Jack. Norrington loved her with everything that he had to give. It really was heartbreaking but atleast he knew that she didn't love him back and he choice to respect her wishes. Just loved the ending of 1st one when he lets go of her, so she could be with Will. Plus loved what he said just before dying to Elizabeth in AWE's. It really was such a great line and he knew all along that he would never have her with how he heart belonged to Will

What is your reaction to the end of Norrington?

I hated what they did to Norrington and it was the full 3rd movie cause he barely had any scenes. We saw him only a few times but atleast he went out on good terms. He saw what he did was wrong by bringing the heart to Beckett and then he saved Elizabeth. So that atleast was good, that he was able to redeem himself but really hated that he had to die cause he could have atleast gone out in the end with fighting for the right team instead of getting killed by a deraged Bill Turner SR. Plus he didn't need to die in the first place, he could have became a pirate and we could have kept him

Would you like a prequal with having James Norrington back?

I would for them to go back to like 10 years previous of the first movie and show all the stuff of Jack getting the Pearl. Also see how Norrington knew of James, just would love the chance of more Norrington cause he's a really great character and JD is a great actor

Although, I hated Elizabeth, so I really didn't like Norrington pining for her. HATED it actually. LOL And I loathed that he died; it was such a cop out; he should have been there fightng at the end, but oh, well.. that was basically when I left anyways. I didn't see the end, until I saw it on tv. LOL

see them killing Norrington is one of MANY reasons why I won't watch POTC3 THAT and the fact that Elizabeth wound up with Will I HATED THEM I loved her with Jack

My vague memory tells me that I liked Norrington and Jack but didn't care for Elizabeth or Will when I saw the first movie
