To help pass the time until a new Alias airs, I wanted to start this thread. I certainly hope it's okay with the moderators. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

To make this not a star posting thread, when you ask for a letter please say "I'll take the letter (insert letter here)" or "May I please have a (insert letter here)". One word posts are considered star posts.

When a letter is asked for and is used or not, I'll include it in the bottom of the post. Once the puzzle is solved, the person who guessed it correctly can start a new one.

Carol..if you look at other Hangman Threads, they DO post the puzzle again every couple of posts to avoid confusion. This is the way it's been done for as long as I've been a member of Fan Forum. People aren't expecting to have to look back at the beginning post.

And while I'm up on my soap box..lol, Just so you know, games are a little bit different when it comes to "star posting." There's nothing wrong with them being just one word (or letter) in this case. Mods and Admins just don't want people posting on other dicussion threads like "Hi." "How r ya?" Back and forth, and carrying on conversations like you would in an IM chat. Games are meant to be fast quick answers and are fair ways to boost your post count. EVERYONE does this, and I've never seen anyone take issue with it.

Okey-dokey [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I'll post the hangman puzzle with letters used occasionally. I suppose I can conform to the other sites. I just thought if people actually read the instructions, then it wouldn't be a problem. Besides, I just didn't want to post it after every few requests because I thought it'd be too much of a "star posting" type thing. You know, me starting a game thread that I would have to post responses to after each post -- seemed "unfair" so to speak.

And I just figured asking someone to be polite and ask "May I have a (letter) please" wasn't that big of a deal. I was partly teasing Sir Fireboard anyway. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Notice the wink and the whip. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] Didn't think 5 more words would be a hassle ... I suppose on that line, those 5 words wouldn't necessarily negate the star posting thing. Oh well...

I just followed the only other Hangman game I'd played on the CSI board.

So... here's the puzzle again. And keep the letters coming. We'll all get it! :-) And then the winner can post a new puzzle.
