I am so excited for this episode. I keep rewatching the promo. I was listening to the radio and it said the episode is going to have an ending "you won't want to miss". Yay, cliffhangers!

I'm REALLY excited for Sark & Anna's return (squee!) although I don't think I can watch tonight. Boo, work.

It's a fabulous feeling to be excited during an episode and want to come back from commercials.
Hooray for plot movement, Anna, Sark, Rambaldi and everything else! __________________

Quick drive by post but it was a fun eppy. Ok ... maybe FUN isn't the best word to describe it, but uh, good and all that jazz.
Now I know I'm behind because I still haven't even seen all of Season One yet on DVD and none of the later ones, but I know the jist so I wasn't too lost. So here are my random quick comments before I have to rush off to bed : Thought the Eric/Nadia and Vaughn/Syd "akward moment" because the guys were discussing the girls and vice versa was cute. Falling in love with Marshall. Have I said that yet? He he he ... really like the "alternative" to killing the guy and instead just taking his finger. Ooooooooo me likey Anna being back. I mean, she's one of the characters I got to see in my initial DVD watching so it was very reaffirming for me. Loved the alternative fulfilling of the prophecy or whatever, though I might have it a bit misunderstood so it may be the real fulfilling and all that, but either way, effective! And but those were some promos for next week! __________________

I never thought I would be excited to say the following ... I'm glad they brought Rambaldi back!
Ok ... that was an amazing episode of Alias! No complaints tonight. Just an awesome hour of television. I tell you ... Lost was awesome, but Alias just kept me on a great TV high. Perfection. Cannot wait to see next week's and Jack's betrayal! __________________

I loved how that sort of elevator type music was playing as Syd and Anna kicked the crap out of each other.
It's good to see Anna back, that's for sure. I didn't remember her being so Rambaldi obsessed though. Of course, Syd and Nadia go in for the hug and Anna shoots. Man... this show has gotten good again. Season four has been so blah, but with last week and this one, things are looking up. |

Anna was amazing, loved the fight. Loved the True Lies shout out, Sydney even looked like Jamie Lee Curtis!
They branded Nadia! Ouch! Sark..well I'm sorry but they just write him too over the top. He's a charicature. He told Vaughn he loved Lauren, I hope they let that remain the truth and don't twist it around for an ulterior motive later, because how great would that be if Sark actually had some emotional dvelopment and actually wanted revenge against Vaughn for Lauren?? Loved how Vaughn punched Sark to get his attention. Loved Marshall "You mess with a friend of Flinkman, yo're messin with Flinkman!" Oh could someone just press that damn butto by accident? I'd love to see Sark go poof. __________________

Tonight's episode was actually good! First off, I loved the talks between Sydney and Nadia and Weiss and Vaughn at the beginning. And I definately loved the fight between Anna and Syd! They branded Nadia, ouch. And then she got shot. Double ouch. I think that having Anna and Sark in this episode really helped to make it better then the previous one's from this season. Next week's episode looks awesome too. Finally this season is looking better!

guys, this is the first SOLID episode of the season. Nothing too extraordinary, but it was good. And not self contained. |
