I remember when I was younger watching season 3 for the first time it was not obvious to me that they would get together, but as an adult I would like to think I would have picked up on it. Either way, it was fantastic!

Man, I wish I had watched DC blind, but I got into PJo by seeing them on Youtube and already saw a lot of their scenes before settling down to watch it from the start, so I already had it my head about them getting together and that being obvious haha.

They foreshadow PJ pretty heavily in the first few episodes of S3, especially when Pacey shows her True Love for the first time. But then they side track starting with the Witch Island episode when Joey is still all obsessed with Dawson, and Pacey and Jen decide to do their little sex pact. Then they get back on track with the dance lessons episode. Then they side track again with AJ. They really knew how to toy with our feelings

Yeah, I remember a lot of those weird experimental things in S3 threw me off. Back then I didn't realize they were going for P/J until the "Four To Tango" episode when Pacey and Joey exploded with jealousy towards Dawson and Jen over each other (Along with Jen calling Pacey out on it and the dance teacher calling out Pacey and Joey's sexual tension amid the bad dancing lol) I was ready for the P/J rocket to take off then lol.

I feel I was rooting for them early on in season three, but the moment that I remember sticking out to me where it clicked was when he watched her by the fire sleeping. To this day, that moment still gives me chills.

Pacey and Joey have so many moments that give everyone chills, another thing that makes them such a great couple. Chemistry like that can never be recreated or duplicated!

Although I agree about the fireside scene, for me it was when Mitch asked Pacey "what makes you care so much". The look on Pacey's face melts my heart.
