It was the best love scene. The one that felt the most natural.

Right? Everything about it was amazing. Starting with her hearing his speech to Ana, then leading in with him brushing her hair for her. Her being the one to initiate things by asking for his wallet and then her listing off all the reasons why she was ready to share her first time with him. The snowy cabin setting, the fireplace, the music. Their nervousness. Pacey's smile and don't even get me started on this moment when he gently brushed her hair away from her face.

I agree, they killed it. I especially love the brushing of the hair then fisting her hair. The tongue was a great touch too lol. As for the music, I still prefer the original track with some guy singing "Take My Breath Away." Regardless, it's still a beautiful scene.

So so true.

I don't want to diminish the writers of the show, but when you read all those little things, it does sound a little cliche, however, when you add the incredible chemistry between Josh and Katie, it made that scene perfect and I don't think they could have done a better job even if they tried.

I agree. Kinda cliché. I kinda look at it as her taking notice of little things he did for her, that normally someone else wouldn't think twice about and it was little things like that, that he did, that added up over time and added to the reasons why she loved him in the first place. But yeah, on paper it is cliché, but I agree, Katie and Josh's chemistry overshadowed anything cliché about that speech.

And yes, the OG soundtrack is the one I was referring too. It's by far the best, but I don't hate the DVD song. I think it works okay as well, but nothing tops the OG song.

Look at how she is looking at him. She is so in love with him.
