This is what solidified J And P being endgame for me in the finalie. The way Pacey is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for Joeys. She’s off the hook. Joey then chooses Pacey. True Love

I agree about that scene. I mean Joey says she always knew who she was supposed to be with - i.e. Pacey - but that scene probably solidified her decision because of what he says, him being willing to let her go if it means her happiness, but also not being afraid to declare how he's in love with her and always has been.

And Joey and Pacey break up in 4x20, and we call Season 5 the season of "amnesia" because they don't focus a lot on their break up in the season and that they were together. There's some acknowledgement, but it is largely ignored. They're just good friends in season 5, and then in season 6 they have like almost no scenes the first half of the season and then in 6x14-6x18 they tease the idea of them getting back together.

Then Joey does her whole leaving Pacey for Eddie thing - in what world?? - and then you know the rest

That moment in Stolen Kisses kills me every time and I have to rewind and watch it several times when it's on.

Yeah, I always loved how selfless Pacey was and always put Joey first. Just one of the many things showing how much he loves her and why he deserved her in the end. Also, I love me some Stolen Kisses. It's my favorite S3 episode, and the ten kiss is one of my favorite kisses. I love how Joey looks up at Pacey too, but I also love her look of surrender and want when Pacey leans down to kiss her. So hot.

Just watched this episode. Their first time sleeping together. One of their best scenes.

Yeah, the moment when they first sleep together is amazing. I loved Joey listing all the reasons she wants Pacey to be her first lover. She was really trusting herself with him, and it's nice how even though it's her first time she was more confident and in control while Pacey was cutely nervous lol. I love how they were both vulnerable in different ways, and Joey saying back to Pacey what he said to her in "Stolen Kisses" complete with the ten kiss is just the cherry on top of that amazing, passionate, beautiful scene. One of the many reasons "A Winter's Tale" is one of my favorite episodes as well.
