^ So true Jamie. DJo had one of the most complex and interesting dynamics/relationships on tv. They always toed the line between friends and lovers and had a deep rooted connection that went beyond friendship. What they had was special and unique and despite their flaws, they had one of the strongest bonds I've seen. I think this show will always be associated with them even if they're not as popular with the fandom as PJo are. Not that matters, it doesn't change how I feel about them.

I burned through A Place to Call Home. That was a great story and I love that there are those who still pine for a Dawson and Joey reunion. I love that no matter what happened in the series, the thing people remember most was Dawson and Joey. Everyone knew that they were supposed to get together, everyone in their hearts knew that the finale was wrong.

^ Very true, but in a way, Dawson and Joey was still endgame.
Maybe not in a romance and getting married type of way, but still endgame nonetheless. They're still and always will be "Dawson and Joey".  __________________

The DJo relationship was set in stone in the finale, more than any other relationship on the show imo. I really need to do a rewatch of the show, it has been way too long since I've watched full episodes.__________________

You should totally rewatch it. I just finished season 5, and I'm watching and remembering a lot of little gems D.Jo got. I have all the high school memories locked in my head, but for some reason I blanked out plenty of the college stuff. For instance, I loved when Dawson brought Joey coffee in the library and asked if she liked his shoes.

^ s5 had a lot of great DJo moments.
The hug in "The Bostonians" is one of my favorite scenes on the entire show. It was a quiet but powerful moment. __________________
