Breaking up with Dawson in "The Dance"
Recording her dad's admission of dealing drugs again in "Parental Discretion Advised" Pacey's horrible comments to her at the prom in "Promicide" Just a few...if I think of more, I'll post them. __________________

When Dawson did not take her back at the top of season 3 she seemed really upset.

Not as serious as some of the others but:
- school mural being defaced - not getting a financial scholarship to Worthington - Mitch's death - loss of childhood girlfriends and the town's opinion of her family - her dad dealing drugs second time round - finding out about her dad's affair - seeing Jen with Dawson in Decisions - potential loss of Dawson's friendship in True Love and finally - having to sing to the mugger on his deathbed - painful for her and me  __________________

In episode coda she also names her 3 painfull moments:
[With tears running down her cheeks] Do you believe in magic? I never used to. I mean, how could I? 13, your mom dies. You hope against hope for--for magic, something to make it all better. It never comes, and, you know, you look to your father who's unable to overcome all of his tragic flaws. Well, no abracadabra there. And then there's Pacey. Well... any magic that was there, that ran out, didn't it? But, uh, then there's you. There's proof that someone out there is thinking of me... my friend who was with me always. It's pure magic. I guess this is pretty much just a longwinded way of saying that, um... I'm gonna miss you, Dawson. __________________

I have to say that the most painful moment for Joey IMO was when she "helped" the police to arrest her father. When she lifts her shirt to show the micro and cries and then when we saw the look on her father's face, I really felt for her!
 and Katie did an awesome job then! __________________

Yeah, this broke her... I felt so sorry for her, I don't think there was a need to put her through this, this is too much for a young girl.
