Pacey/Joey I really liked these two for some reason.

Katie's best scenes in Season 6 were with Oliver. He brought out a fun side to her acting. She seemed a lot less... Joey. You know, less shy and insecure. Eddie really introduced Joey to a whole new way of life.


The writers should have kept the ending for them where they said goodbye at the beach. The scene that included our thread title. THAT kiss... The one where it seemed like it would go on forever, was epic.


The writers were stupid to back to the Pacey and Dawson drama in Season 6. They didn't handle it right, and her character had moved beyond them both.


Joey and Eddie should have been the canon endgame. She should have gone on that worldwide trip with him that they planned, Beatnik Style.

I have admitted in the past but I will again, I am both a fan of P/Jo and these two. I really did enjoy their story and scenes together in season 6. I thought they deserved a better ending too than what they got.

Nice to see a multi-shipper. Due to how it ended, DC can be an unpopular show for that


They didn't treat Eddie well when they brought him back later on in Season 6. That storyline where he asked her to come with him on a worldwide trip and she waits until it's too late to answer him was so unfair It just seemed like they wanted him out of the way so that Joey could go back to her high school love triangle drama.


Eddie was probably the most fitting boyfriend for Joey. He represented that exact thing she'd longed for ever since school - escaping the Creek and seeing what's out there.

I am not afraid to multi ship. I find I tend to do that on multiple shows, and it is what it is!

If they were going to keep him off the show, they could have kept the ending the way it was originally. When he went to California to pursue writing. That last kiss they had there was beautiful. It just wasn't the same when he came back.

Eddie had a very dignified ending and it did seem like they brought him back later on just to destroy the concept of his and Joey's shared dream of reuniting one day.


That kiss between them was amazing, it was a movie style kiss

I'm convinced that the writers did that on purpose, brought him back to make audiences turn away from supporting Joey and Eddie together so that they wouldn't be mad that he wasn't her endgame.

I agree with that. Because their relationship obviously meant something to Joey, and to have him just leave like that was dumb.

I actually understood his reasoning in the last episode he's in -- Joey being scared of taking chances. The writers were using him as the narrative of her entire story arc since the first season, to remind the audience that she runs from big opportunities.


I still resent it though, because the way he just disappeared after their argument made him look unreliable and self-centered.

I do get his reasoning, but he should not have run. That was a coward's way of ending things.

Totally which, sadly, made him look like a hypocrite.


I think that episode is something that shouldn't belong to their canon dating history. They were much stronger together than that episode suggested.

I would have to agree with you there. It felt out of place.
