Jen and Jack Appreciation Thread #1
**Beautiful banner made by CrisBR** I looked in some of the old threads and I didn't see a Jack and Jen appreciation thread so I thought I'd start one. I would have liked to see them as a couple, but that never happened; instead, they had one of the most amazing friendships ever. The scene in the finale between the two of them broke my heart, as I'm sure it had that affect on others as well. Please post away in reguards to Jack and Jen's amazing friendship and connection Jen/Jack Shippers: *If anyone else would like to be added, PM ME and I'll add you!* 1. it was a touching moment.. i cried so many times during the j/j moments of the finally. they were so close, soulmates and it was so sad. they are my second favorite relationship. i love how they were with each other, calling one a **** and the other a big homo... very funny.

Aww, i love Jen and Jack and Michelle and Kerr had one of the most amazing comedic timing i've ever seen. And yes, the scene's between these two were always very special, specially in the finale.
But i always loved this scene between them, its funny: [Scene: Gram’s Kitchen. Grams is sitting at the counter drinking some coffee, when Jen and Jack come in and grab some cookies out of the cabinet] Jen: Yes, the rumors are true. The unthinkable has happened. The sky must, indeed, be falling. Jack: We finally did it. Grams: Did what, exactly? Jen: Oh, nothing, we've just been at the library. Jack: For the past 4 hours. Jen: Working on the internet— Jack: Planning a certain trip— Jen: Exhaustively planning a certain trip— Jack: For the summer— Jen: For 2 whole months. Jack: To the exotic— Jen: Beautiful— Jack: Enchanting— Jen: Mysterious— Jack: Exciting— Jen: Did I already say "exotic"? Jack: No, I did. Jen: Right. Grams: Where? Jack: Costa Rica. Grams: You're kidding?! Jen: No. No, we're not. Jack: Jen figured if you're gonna do something like this, if you're gonna have an adventure, you might as well go for broke and really have an adventure. Jen: Just like Indiana Jones. Jack: Yeah, or, uh, Jeff Probst. Grams: I'm speechless. Jen: And you know what? It may be a huge mistake. It may turn out to be absolutely horrible, and we leave after a week. But so what? Because from this point on no matter what happens for the rest of our lives, whenever Costa Rica comes up in casual conversation, we'll be able to say, good ol' Costa. I spent some time there. Jack: Yeah, because Costa Rica comes up a lot in casual conversation. Jen: Hey, don't kill my buzz. I love how they finish each others sentences. __________________

Thanks for the scene Britney
There's a scene in the first episode of season 3 that I love: Jack and Jen are making breakfast and Grams ask them how long they've been married __________________

I think Jen and Jack had possibly the most strongest friendship on DC they really complemented each others personalities well and i loved all their scenes together One of my favourite Jack & Jen scenes ever would be, (Jack and Jen lying down on a blanket in a park) Jack: I saw an article in this magazine once, where they put this thing up in the sky so that kids studying astronomy could track something during the night, and (pointing finger at stars) I think that is it ri- … or maybe that's it. Jen: What … you expect me to believe there's some sort of giant disco ball orbiting the earth? Jack: OK, when you put it like that it does sound kinda stupid. Maybe we should start thinking of getting out of here. Jen: I don't think so. Not before the main event. C'mon, we got the stars … we got the moonlight … it's perfect. Jack: Yeah, right! Lying in the grass on a hot Indian summer night with your gay best friend. That's your definition of perfect? Jen: A girl could do a lot worse. Jack: C'mon Jen, I know you too well. You can't tell me there's someone else you'd rather be star gazing with? Jen: OK, you got me. Matt Damon. Jack: (laughing) Yeah right. Jen: What, you don't approve? OK, I'll have to go with Ben Affleck then. Well, he has that scruffy, indie-cred appeal. Well? Jack: No comment. Besides, I was talking more about the realm of say, possible … Henry, for instance? Jen: The freshman? Jack: Yeah, the guy paid 500 bucks just to kiss you? Go gotta admit, that's kind of sweet. Jen: Jack, Jack, Jack, my naïve little pet, it's the sweet ones that you have to watch out for. They'll run over you like a Mack truck. Jack: Well Henry's harmless. Besides, he worships you. Jen: He's a teenage boy. He'll worship anything in a wonderbra. (Jack laughs) Besides, I'm already sleeping with the best looking guy on the football team. And best friends are nothing to sneeze at. God, I remember when I first met Joey and Dawson. I was so envious of what they had, all that history. Jack: Then that whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing kicked in. Jen: See, that's what's so great about us. Sex will never come between you and me. (Water sprinklers come on) Jen: Oh God. Jack, Jack, get the quilt, get the quilt. Jack: (They run off through the sprinklers laughing) Not so tough now are you, Homecoming Queen? __________________

I agree there is always something special between them and I enjoy every single scene with them.
Thanks for the scene Emily, I love it. I think that indeed their friendship was really strong because sex can't come between them. They're more like brother and sister __________________
