In his defence, a lot of actors don't watch their own stuff, but DC was talked about a lot and still is, so it doesn't really ring true that he wouldn't know anything about the finale.

With regards to VDB, there are a lot of actors from older series who did the work and then never watched the stuff.

I was in disbelief the first time I heard an actor say they couldn't remember dialogue, titles and scenes or even episodes, but after a while it made sense. I mean, I'm not an actor, but I imagine that you give all of your emotions and being to one moment in filming and then recharge and refocus that energy. So maybe it's more of a moment in time where they're present and then they move on.

Anyway, just a thought. Not telling anyone how to feel about the interview or VDB, was just musing on the topic

I just read the JVDB interview and I don't know what to make of it. I understand if he just wants to move on and he's sick of answering DC questions. I don't get the part where he says he can't get invested because it's not something he wrote. Would that include all his acting projects that he did not write? He should be proud of all his accomplishments.

Yeah, I was a little taken back by the comment as well. It's like he's saying it's not good enough or something, he came off as a bit snobbish there which is unfortunate because I never thought of James that way before.
