[2x16] "Be Careful What You Wish For" September 27th - October 4th
"Be Careful What You Wish For" ~ 2x16 Synopsis: On the night of Dawson's 16th birthday, Dawson and Andie follow her therapist's advice and throw themselves into an unabashed night of recklessness. They arrive at a blues bar, and unbeknownst to Pacey, Andie and Dawson start drinking. Meanwhile, back at the Leery house, Joey is putting together a surprise party for Dawson, and Jack has a few surprises of his own. Jen and Ty face up to their potentially irreconcilable differences, and Gail and Mitch come to a decision about how to raise their son in light of their separation. We would like to invite everyone to participate in our re-watch, be it first-time viewer or long-time fan. This is our opportunity to relive the Dawson's Creek days and to discuss our favorite moments, things we would like to change or maybe totally new things we never noticed before. We will watch one episode every two weeks. Due to our different time-zones we decided to not name an exact time and date, so everyone can decide for themselves when they watch the episode. We will update this thread every second Friday, when we start a new episode, so all discussion can take place in here too. Have Fun! __________________

Oh this episode... It has the funniest and most embarrassing scenes in it I absolutely loved the blues song of Dawson and Andie, that was absolutely hilarious. And Pacey watching them Dawson at his party... very very awkward, I almost can't watch some parts. If that happened to me, I would probably not leave the house for at least a month
Oh and one more detail: I really really don't like Ty Thank god Jen ditched him, she deserved so much better than him! __________________

Dawson and Andie singing the blues is probably one of my favourite moments of the whole series. Too funny, and I loved Andie's sass. Great moment between Dawson/Andie.
Oh TY, never liked him either. It was nice of Jen to give him a chance, but she deserves so much better. __________________

Dawson and Andie singing the blues was absolutely hilarious! I just had to laugh at Pacey's reaction.

I can't believe Dawson's parents were going to give him a car for his birthday! Lucky guy, although also very unlucky for not getting it. Poor Dawson.

^ Yes it was
I love the DJo scene at the end of the ep. I haven't watched it in a while, but I think I remember Joey placing her hand on Dawson's hand , as he was lying in bed and she sat down next to him. |

This was a fun episode, it was cool to see Dawson and Andie bonding for once. The little blues song was pretty funny and cute and I definitely remember that scene.
Jen's boyfriend was a grade a JERK so I am so glad she broke that off with him. The whole Jack/Abby plot felt so weird to me and it really feels like they are just trying to incorporate Abby into the show when she just doesn't fit. Djo moments were sweet like normal for them and I felt bad for Dawson. |

I loved when Dawson and Andie sang the Blues, it was awesome.
I didn't feel bad for Dawson at all though. Drunk or not, he was a dick in that episode. I loved Grams sticking up for Jack to Jen's boyfriend. Grams rocks. I never really felt Abby belonged in the show, she kind of got in the way IMO. __________________

I really don't have a lot to say about this episode, that's why I didn't comment after I first saw it. I don't enjoy watching underage drinking and it wasn't an exception here. Andie/Dawson interacting was fun though but that was about it. Dawson was kind of off in this episode but I guess everyone has bad days. I'm glad he felt miserable at the end though, as he should. I did like the DJo scene at the end though, it's one of my favorites.
