Yeah, and AI is the kind of show where the contestants don't have to win or even get to the finals to get their shot. So many of the ones who were voted out earlier than expected went on to have some great successes.
Kellie went on to release successful music, she often does USO shows, she won DWTS and now has her talk show (of course among other accomplishments).
