I suspect that may be even more so for people whose looks can be a big factor in their success or failure in their profession. It might be something of a paradox. You land a job that requires you to look a certain way - so you've got a measure of security - but you're concerned that the look you're required to maintain isn't really a reflection of who you are - and might limit your ability to get future jobs.
