But it went different direction after they caught him trying to watch surveillance footage of the criminal shooting at the innocent families at ARGUS. He ran away from his friend because he didn't tell them to delete incriminating footage of Diaz talking to them. After Felicity warned them, they hid in the dumpster. But the shooter looked afraid of the vigilante and the cops. Suddenly, a bomb exploded in the bunker and injured Rene. He felt guilty about leaving the team in on the plan.
