It took a while for me to see that Brian is hurt when Ted says that to him. I think that makes more sense with the scene they took out of the pilot for the U.S. version where Brian says, "I happen to be very kind, very loving!" LOL.
Still not sure why they took that out.
I'm not sure why Brian seems most resistant to act like he cares about Ted, out of the whole group.
