Did Stephen King write any other books having to do with telekinesis that have been made into movies?

I haven't read Doctor Sleep, but there is a character in that named Abra Stone who I've read has telekinetic powers. There is an adaptation on the way starring Ewan McGregor
So, I just re-watched the
2013 version of CARRIE.
It's not even close to the scares/suspense of the 1976 original
All of the subtlety that shone through in Sissy Spacek's performance in the Prom scene when Carrie kills the students is gone in the 2013 one. Moretz uses her arms to act, not her eyes. The soundtrack in this scene is really distracting.
Best compliment I can give the 2013 version is that Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore and Ansel Elgort give really good performances and bring depth/sympathy to the characters.
Huge NO to the unnecessary twist they add in the 2013 version where Sue Snell is pregnant
and using it as an excuse for Carrie to save her? That was so forced.
