Honestly, the blackface situation bothered me at first. I never lashed out online or anything. I had been following Mamamoo for awhile so I knew them as genuine girls who would never intentionally do something if they knew just how hateful a place it came from. I did have to step back from them for a little while, but I know they're sorry and they learned from it and that they WANT to learn more and do better in the future. But there are many who don't like to see people grow from their mistakes. They just want to use mistakes to perpetuate hate. Forever an ongoing battle.
